Program Description

Event Details

Middle and High School Students are invited to read Station Eleven (or Fever 1793 for middle school) and create project based on the book as part of this year’s NEA Big Read with Write Out Loud. Free copies of both books are available upon request at the front desk of the Scripps Ranch Library.

At this workshop, students will discuss theme, tone, and character, and a Teaching Artist will lead a poetry workshop based on the discussion. Students are encouraged, but not required, to submit their finished project to Write Out Loud for prize consideration!
