Event Details

Panel discussion on women's issues ranging from coverage and treatment of women by the media to underrepresentation and working conditions for women working in the media. Moderated by the Director of the School of Journalism and Media Studies at SDSU, Dr Bey-Ling Sha.

Panelists include filmmaker, Senain Kheshgi; Chair of the SDSU Women's studies Department, Dr Doreen Mattingly; Editor of the La Jolla Light newspaper, Susan DeMaggio; Chair of Communications San Diego City College, Laura Castanada.
