Event Details

This year's Summer Reading theme is Reading Colors Your World, so today we'll learn how to upcycle an old book into paper lanterns so that the book will literally (and literarily) brighten up your world!  

Summer Reading 2021 starts today, June 1. Get the details and sign-up at sandiego.gov/SummerReading and earn prizes for reading and completing activities.

If you're looking for ideas about more fun things to create, visit the How-To Festival's site (sandiego.gov/H2F) for 50 videos on HOW-TO have a great time while learning from members of our community.

  • Tuesdays at 5 p.m. : Adult Create!
