Westwind Brass, the Hausmann Quartet, and SDSU student audition winners. SDSU School of Music and Dance, Arts Alive SDSU, and the Central Library present a chamber music showcase featuring top student ensembles representing the string, piano, wind, and brass chamber music programs at the school. Student chamber ensembles will perform side by side with mentors and ensembles in residence, the Hausmann Quartet and Westwind Brass. The program features chamber music repertoire spanning the centuries and is a celebration of SDSU’s strong commitment to the art of chamber music. Arts Alive SDSU is a campus-wide initiative designed to provide opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and the public to engage in transformational arts interactions as part of an arts-rich, robust, educational community.
