Event Details

If you are using a laptop or tablet in public, then you are already familiar with wireless. But what exactly is wireless (or Wi-Fi as it is known)?

We will learn about Wi-Fi, discuss what it is, and where to connect in public places. We will show you how to set it up on your home computer, and how to connect your device to a public or private network.

Learn about safety while using Wi-Fi in a public setting, and discuss some Wi-Fi topics like “hotspot,” “network,” and modems vs. routers.
