Program Description

Event Details

This month participants will get to try their hand at lino cutting, a form of relief printing similar to woodcutting.

Linocut is a printmaking technique, a variant of woodcut in which a sheet of linoleum is used for a relief surface. It's used to take away the parts of linoleum where you want to leave the white of the page, and keep the parts you want to be inked! In the result you have a linocut that can reproduce the same image over and over again.

Please bring an image measuring 3 by 4 inches and be sure to register by contacting the Library at (619) 533-3970 to sign up.  This project is suitable for Adults 18 & up.
