Program Description

Event Details

Did you know that two-thirds of the world’s oxygen comes from plants in the ocean? Join marine scientists as we learn what makes ocean plants different from land plants and about products that are made from ocean plants (e.g., toothpaste & ice cream!). Attendees will hone critical thinking and hypothesis formation skills.

Presented by the League of Extraordinary Scientists & Engineers, a group of local STEM professionals who provide instruction to youth in their favorite subjects. All programs include an interactive component, and encourage a love of science and engineering.

Ages 8-12.
