Friendship@Friendship Park

Central Library- 2nd Floor Display

April 15 – May 31, 2024

 

Students from San Diego Unified and Tijuana schools will create a collaborative public art project woven together to resemble a giant friendship bracelet.

These individually designed segments will be installed at the Central Library in San Diego, as well as woven through the border wall at Friendship Park in Tijuana. This project is a part of World Design Capital’s Youth & Education initiative.

Application will be considered on a first-come basis. Organizations and individuals based in San Diego or serving primarily San Diego residents, which have not used exhibit space within the past year, will be given priority.
