Event Details

Our series of Summer Reading events kicks off with a concert by Sol e Mar! This trio of musicians showcases the African-influenced rhythms of Brazil and Cuba in a highly interactive and engaging program.  Audiences participate by clapping and dancing while learning about the history and the sounds of the percussion instruments that make the music of “Carnaval” so fascinating!

This event is held outside; feel free to bring your own blanket or chairs.
