In the NEA BIG READ book, Station Eleven, by Emily St. John Mandel, the theme Survival is Insufficient is repeated throughout, to emphasize the importance of art in our lives.  The phrase originates from Survival Instinct, the 122nd episode of Star Trek: Voyager.  Please be one of the first ten to join us for this Star Trek adventure and receive your own copy of Station Eleven.
