Event Details

The San Diego Public Library presents its first short story contest. Registration opens March 1 and will continue through the month, or until 50 entries have been received.

Rules and Guidelines:

  • The contest is open to original, published or unpublished stories.
  • Stories that have won and/or placed in other writing contests are ineligible.
  • Stories previously accepted in this contest in previous years are not eligible.
  • Simultaneous submissions are allowed.
  • Stories should be suitable for a general audience.
  • Only (1) story per author.

 

WInners will receive monetary prizes as well as a public performance by Write Out Loud. For complete rules and information, see the contest page.
