Join Shelly and Tim for fun afternoons of ukulele strum along! All skill levels and ages are welcome to come and participate in this informal, weekly event. Please note that these are NOT lessons.

Join us every Wednesday at the Ocean Beach Library to read to DK, our bearded dragon or Darwin, our Ball Python. Practice your skills and gain confidence by reading to these enthusiastic and non-judgmental reptiles.

Calling all LEGO Builders!

Put your engineering and problem-solving skills to the test by taking part in unique LEGO building challenges or let your imagination run wild and build your own special LEGO creations.

Each week's LEGO

Enjoy an afterschool movie! Bring your friends, blankets, pillows, and snacks. All ages welcome! 

Each month we'll feature a family-friendly film geared towards elementary and middle school aged children.

Join us every Monday for LEGO Power Hour! Build your own creations to display in our library.  Program will take place in our study rooms 3 and 4. 

Come to the library for Arts and Crafts for children 5 and up.  No registration needed and materials are provided.

Come and enjoy our free Zumba for Kids program for babies and toddlers. This program involves music and movement to help kids strengthen their motor skills.

Chess is played by over 600 million people and is the most popular game in the world. We welcome players with all levels of chess experience from beginners to advanced. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Have someone in your family that is curious about DnD? Join us every Thursday at 3:30pm for our weekly board game afternoon and DnD session!

Join us in a relaxed and supportive  environment to receive chess instruction, improve your skills, or play an opponent.

Join us for an hour of crocheting at the library! You can use our supplies, or bring your own projects. Ask questions, learn the basics, or talk to other crocheters while practicing the craft.

Stay and Play is a play group and storytime for kids age 0-5 and their adults. We especially invite nontraditional caregivers (friends, family members, and neighbors) who care for children in an informal way.

How about a game of chess? All levels of chess experience are welcome, from beginners to advanced. If you don't know how to play chess, you can learn at Chess Club!
