You never know what treasures you might find at the monthly Friends of the North Park Library monthly book sale!  Members of the Friends group will be available to discuss memberships and joining the Friends group as well.

Volunteers from AARP's Tax-Aide program will help you prepare and file your income taxes.  Saturdays through April 12, 2025.  

These Storytimes, good for kids ages 4 to 6, are fun, kinetic, and humorous experiences!  I make it a point not just to read books, but to perform them as well!

Saturday is story time in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for stories, songs, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!

Join us every Saturday from 10am-noon for Lego and Rokenbok Club! Patrons will be able to build at their own pace.

We will provide a lego square to build on and patrons can continue to build on it week after week.

Do you want to learn how to play chess? Do you already know how to play and are looking for the perfect place to play? Join us every Saturday for a fun game of chess with friends at Rancho Bernardo Library!

Join us to learn about container gardening, decorate a pot, create a gardening marker, fill your pot up with soil, and plant your seeds. Healthy Adventures will provide the arts and crafts, pots, soil, craft sticks, construction paper, and seeds.

Do you like manga and anime? Join us every Saturday in the Teen’s Area of the Mira Mesa Library for fun activities and a chance to discuss your favorite titles with other fans!

Do you have an area in your garden that never gets enough sun and struggle with what to plant in that area? Learn some of the do’s and don’ts to create a great shade garden.

All levels of players are welcome. There will be instruction for beginners and opportunities for kids to play against other kids at their own level. Geared to Grades 1-5.

This meditation class is for all ages and levels. It will be more about practicing than instruction. Bring a mat and cushion for comfortable sitting.
