Bring the kiddos to the library every Thursday morning for a variety of play!  Storytime, crafts, dancing, songs and most of all FUN!

Join Ms. Camille and Ms. Melissa every Thursday at the OB Rec Center for storytime and free play for children 0 to 5 years old. Each week children will have the opportunity to explore and socialize and so will their caregivers!

Join us as we read, sing, and dance this special Storytime, which encourages a love of reading and builds essential early literacy skills. 

Preschool storytime for babies, toddlers, and all preschoolers!

Welcome families to Stay and Play. This program is focused towards children 0-5 years old and their caregivers. Every Thursday we will offer free play.

Recommended for ages 2-5, this storytime program includes books, songs, games, and early literacy fun! A to-go craft will be provided at the end.

Kensington-Normal Heights Librarians will share stories, songs, and bubbles with children ages 3-5. Older and younger siblings welcome! Bring a blanket to sit on the grass. 

Children 0-5 years old and their caregivers are invited to join us for Odi Buddies! We will sing songs, do rhymes, fingerplays, shake our shakers and have fun!

Join us this week for a special program with Dance to Evolve. This program involves music and movement to help kids strengthen their motor skills. It is followed by social playtime and healthy, nutritious snacks provided after the program.

After the Morning Storytime, we will be hosting a Stay and Play! 

Parents and Caregivers- play with your children or watch them as they play with other children. 

Storybox Theatre is a wonderful way to present illustrated stories to youngsters.  Storybox is the American name we have given to the Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai.  (Kami = paper; shibai = theatre).  A storytell

A 45-minute Storytime for young children including books and music with the addition of American Sign Language signs with Jennifer Duncan from Signs at Play.

Stay and Play is a play group and storytime for kids age 0-5 and their adults. We especially invite nontraditional caregivers (friends, family members, and neighbors) who care for children in an informal way.

Come and participate in an interactive musical story time.  Move with the music to warm-up and get ready to enjoy finger play, storytelling, and songs in Portuguese and English.

Southern California Ballet is partnering with the Rancho Bernardo Branch Library for “Dancing Through the Pages,” a program that allows children to explore movement and dance through storytelling!

Join us for Mandarin Chinese stories and songs with Ms. Canndy at the Community Room in the Mira Mesa Library. All ages are welcome! Th storytime will be on the 3rd Saturday of the month (subject to change).

Join Ms. Isabel and Mr. Jeff for stories read in both Spanish and English, with a fun and simple craft to follow.

Saturday is Story Time in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for stories, music, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!

Babies & Toddlers- Let's Play!  Engage curiosity, exploration, and build confidence all through play with sensory activities that promote cognitive, social, & motor skills. 

Enjoy some sign language fun for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers with Ms. Jennifer from Signs at Play!

Come learn some simple signs and songs at this fun weekly event!

LEGO Free Play: Imagine and build with LEGO! Keep your engineering and problem-solving skills sharp using the library's LEGO bricks.

Read along and sing for this fun interactive storytime. We will read picture books, move our bodies, act out stories, and sing fun songs and silly rhymes to build our skills with words and language.
