LEGO Free Play: Imagine and build with LEGO! Keep your engineering and problem-solving skills sharp using the library's LEGO bricks.

Beginner friendly computer-aided design (CAD) projects such as keychains and simple geometric models. 3D printing available during class. Open to all school aged children. No previous experience necessary. No reservations needed. 

We are excited to offer 3D Printing in person! Stop by the La Jolla/Riford Library's IDEA Lab during open lab hours with your .STL file and staff will be happy to assist you.

Join us for a fun and hands-on sewing adventure where you'll learn the basics of machine sewing. No experience required! All equipment and materials are provided; feel free to bring your own sewing machine if you have one. Ages 9+.

Bring your ideas to life at our Mobile Maker Lab in the Mission Hills-Hillcrest Library. Learn to use various programs and equipment  such as our 3D printer and die cut machine powered by Silhouette Studio.

Girls Who Code Club is hosting a series of classes to learn coding. The series is five weeks long and meets on a weekly bases for one hour. They will use the language Python.

Play games! Get creative! Have fun! Each week Ms. Maureen will feature a different fun program, from trivia for kids, to making paper airplanes, to painting a self-portrait.
