North Park Library's lovely volunteer Ms. Jill is back for Crafts for Kids!  Every month is a new surprise! 

Come by to see what craft she'll bring this month!

For this month's Crafts for Grown Ups, we'll be creating macrame hangers to hold a wine bottle planter with a pothos plant included! Please note that this program is for 18+ adults only.

LGBTQ+ Teen Writing Group

Join us on the 3rd Monday of every month for a low stakes, inclusive writing group for teens who identify as LGBTQ+. 

4th Monday of every month 

Swing dance comes to the library!  Swing Dancing San Diego will lead a free introductory lesson and host a rooftop dance under the Dome!

Kiddos can put on their favorite pajamas and even grab a favorite stuffed animal and head to the library for a storytime that includes popular children's songs!

Open to the public and are free of charge. Play variety board games.

Babies & Toddlers- Let's Play!  Engage curiosity, exploration, and build confidence all through play with sensory activities that promote cognitive, social, & motor skills. 

Come join us for a signing storytime at the Balboa Branch Library. Signs at Play’s Jennifer Duncan will teach sign language basics to foster early literacy skills. Enjoy fun stories and songs.

Come join us every Tuesday at 11:30am for Music and Motion! This program is designed to introduce babies and toddlers to music, dance and instruments. We will learn new motor skills, shake our sillies out and sing at the top of our lungs.

Registration is required and space is limited. Early signup is encouraged.  Due to space constraints, mats are not allowed in this class. 

Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It is more than simply putting flowers in a container. It is a disciplined art form that breathes life into each composition, harmonizing the elements of nature and humanity.

Baby Play & Learn is designed to support the development of children ages 0-24 months. This program includes stories, rhymes, songs, and movement activities  followed by an open play time.

Come join us for Toddler Happy Hour! Right after Storytime,  parents and caregivers with young children can come and meet their neighbors!  Age-appropriate toys and games will be provided for the little ones to play with.
