Come join us to celebrate our Library’s “Sweet 16” Anniversary with a little Rock ‘n Rock. Point Loma’s own band, THE CHIMPOS have reunited this year after playing together while at Point Loma High School in the 80’s. The band members have remained friends over the years, playing in various other local bands. They decided to come together and record their old songs for an album earlier this year and were signed by Lux Records USA. They had so much fun they are now in the process of recording another. We will get to enjoy songs from both albums during their concert. This is a rare opportunity because THE CHIMPOS rarely play live. www.chimposband.com
