Join us for the 17th annual Toy Piano Festival, a collaboration with UC San Diego Library!

At this popular annual event, you’ll hear new works for toy piano that will amuse listeners of all ages.

Join festival director Scott Paulson and his toy piano colleagues Andrea Wingen, Kenneth Herman, Ryoko Amadee Goguen, Samara Rice, Christian Hertzog and Alex Segal. They’re visiting SDPL from their home base at UC San Diego’s Geisel Library.

The Toy Piano Collection at Geisel Library consists of actual instruments, commissioned scores, and extant literature and recordings. The scores and instruments will be on stage at SDPL’s downtown Central Library for this festival collaboration.  Songs from the “Cat in the Hat Songbook” and new works will be premiered at the festival.
