Event Details

The Lunar New Year is an important Asian holiday that has been celebrated for thousands of years throughout the world, especially in Asia. San Diego Lunar New Year Festival is a 3-day celebration features dazzling lanterns, folk and traditional performances, arts and cultural exhibitions, lion dances and firecrackers, and plenty of family fun activities for the kids. More importantly, the festival is inclusive and free.

Something to look for: improving cultural village, 20-10-foot cherry blossom trees, 20 giant lotus flowers, giant fruits & vegetables market, trail of 12 Asian zodiac, lot of lanterns, floating village on river + a boat & lotus flowers, Kuan Yin oracle, exercise with 9-15 feet dragon dance streamers, live entertainment, a great selection of Asian foods, and more.
