Join us for the 20th Annual San Diego Children's Film Festival! Bring the whole family and be dazzled by the talents of film makers and animators from around the world!
The 20th San Diego International Children's Film Festival concludes with screenings of short films from around the world - animation, live-action, documentary - from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday Aug. 31 in the Neil Morgan Auditorium at the San Diego Central Library. Filmmaker and animator appearances. Special appearance by 14-year-old Ukrainian documentary filmmaker Marusya Shuvalova, who will talk with the audience following the screening of her award-winning short documentaries "What's Going On with Us?" and "Me. My Eleven Years. War.," artistically told stories of her life as a child during wartime. (12 pm). Also, a delightful group of short animations from students at the UCLA Animation Workshop, this year celebrating its 75th anniversary. (2:30 pm). And The Dana Koops Collection, showcasing six audience-favorites of one of our most talented and prolific actor-filmmakers, gifted in both drama and comedy (1 pm).
