Event Details

Celebrate the unique culture and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) at the library on Saturday, May 20 from 2pm-5pm. This celebratory festival will include crafts, snacks, special storytimes, dance and music performances, educational activities, and a whole lot more!

Schedule:

  • 2:00pm: San Diego Hula Academy Performance
  • 2:30pm: Korean Pungmul Musical Performance
  • 3:00pm: Sunset Cliffs Aikido Demonstration
  • 3:30pm: Kamishibai Storytime
  • 4:30pm: Genbu Daiko Japanese Drummers Performance
  • Entire Event booths: Little Saigon and American Red Cross
