The AjA Project will be hosting a screening of A Fighting Irishman directed by Sharon Yamato and narrated by George Takei as a closing reception for Language of Silencing, an exhibit located in the Central Library Lobby. The thirty-minute documentary from 2024  follows the story of Wayne M. Collins, a lawyer who fought for the Civil Rights of Japanese Americans during and after World War II. Following the screening, a Q&A will be hosted by The AjA Project with Kay Ochi from the Japanese American Historical Society of San Diego.
