Program Description

Event Details

Meet the magnificent Andrea Zuill for a fun, spooky, slimy storytime reading of Bob the Vampire Snail. Hilarious, heartwarming, and great for kids who love critters or ghosties, this laugh-out-loud story will take your young reader through unexpected scientific facts and silly scientific inquiries like:

  • Did you know that all snails are named Bob?
  • What happens when a slimy little gastropod begins to sleep upside down, like a bat?
  • How does a vampire snail make friends?

Don’t miss this free, fun, spooky October library Storytime event! Come to any one of our 3 public readings. You can RSVP in advance to make sure that you get a spot — and if you would like to pre-order a copy of Bob the Vampire Snail to be signed at the event by Andrea herself, your young reader can have their book personalized by one of our all-time-favorite San Diego Authors. A book signing will follow each reading. Proceeds support the San Diego Public Library System.

Recommended for families with readers from Pre‑K to 3rd grade.

Register for one (or multiple!) of the 3 Storytime events here: Andrea Zuill's Spooky Library Storytime Tour | Library Foundation SD
