Program Description

Event Details

This program is designed for students with little or no prior coding experience. Java is a programming language that can be utilized to make applications, websites, or even games. It will teach students proficiency in basic Java, starting with the basics in the first couple of days, and then moving to a personalized project as the final project. The class will feature many interactive activities and projects on the way, such as programming a calculator or a simple game. The class will be taught by high school students who are well-versed in Java, many of whom have completed the AP Computer Science A course which covers advanced Java coding.
