Explore the story Mona Mills portrayed in paintings on exhibition in the Taylor Gallery, as told in Murray K. Lee's picture book Elephant and the Indians.  Murray will talk about the true story of his grandfather, a Chinese immigrant who was working on transcontinental the railroad when he was captured by American Indians, and how Murray turned the tale into a book.
