Event Details

Art class, taught by Alice Ouyang, a 10th-grade student at Del Norte High School who has been drawing for eight years and has competed in numerous art competitions, including Scholastic and SDMA. 


Class details:
Art Class (Target students: 5th–7th graders)

  • Introduction to color theory (warm vs. cool colors, complementary colors, etc.)
  • Introduction to perspective
  • Basic anatomy (proportions, simplifying poses/gestures, facial features, etc.)
  • Introduction to lighting and shading
