Capturing dynamic travel photographs is simply being in the right place at the right time. In this session you will learn the important practicalities of travel photography. How to prepare ahead of departure so you can identify the unique aspects of your destination. Learn what minimum equipment required, how to evaluate the light, select the optimum vantage point, and use composition to capture the character of a place. These strategies will guide you into becoming a confident photographer as you capture and honor new people and places before your lens.

Suda House is a photographer of national and international reputation. She is a retired Professor of Art and Photography at Grossmont College. Suda received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California and her Master of Arts from California State University, Fullerton. Her photographs have been widely exhibited throughout California, the United States, and Europe, including a 2024 exhibition in Luxembourg.
