Art Reception - Karuna Kasturi

Karuna Kasturi is a photographer based in San Diego, with deep ties to the East Coast. Her work explores the relationship with time and travel. Each photo becomes a portal - a way of returning to a moment that no longer exists yet can still be relived. Her images often dwell in the in-betweens, the space between intimacy and distance, clarity and blur, vibrance and moodiness. Through this lens, she creates work that invites viewers to pause and notice what might otherwise go unseen, guided by the invisible threads that shape memory, presence, and our experience of the world.
