Program Description

Event Details

Each month the San Carlos Friends of the Library sponsor artists to show their works in the Library’s Community Room. Many of the artists will have an artist’s reception on the 3rd Saturday where you can meet the artists and discuss their work. Light refreshments are served. This month we present the works of Lois Roussell, who will be showing her amazing etchings.  Roussell has an extensive background in printmaking, receiving her B.A. from San Francisco State University in 1973, and her M.A. from SDSU in 1976.  In 1981, she was recruited by Mesa College to set up a studio for beginning classes in intaglio; she taught etching and other forms of printmaking.
