Event Details

Using this year’s NEA Big Read selection, A Small Story About the Sky by Alberto Rios, as inspiration, a teaching artist will lead a workshop for reading, analyzing, and understanding poetry and guide participants through the creation of a collage based on an image from the poems. Intended for Middle and High School Students but open to the public.

Students are encouraged, but not required, to submit their finished project to Write Out Loud for prize consideration!
