Event Details

Sarah Cusey, whose art is on exhibition in the Taylor Gallery through January 30, will be available to discuss her work.

About the Artwork:  L'chaim (to life) was created after Sarah lost three family members to cancer and Parkinson's disease in 2017.  The pieces represent snapshots of memories coming together, creating a whole greater than the sum of its parts.  Inspired by the living wall on the side of Pigment in North Park, the series speaks to the fact that when you lose someone your relationship with with them doesn't end, it simply enters a new season.  L'chaim is a living work of art, continually shifting and growing as pieces are added and then find their way into someone's home.
