Event Details

World building is a subject many artists turn to as an outlet for creativity and fantasy, but also as a way to posit critique of how the world currently functions and ways to improve it. For this project, students will create Neon themed signs using posca markers and one point perspective to create cities of light. Students will also learn about neon artists such as Ivan Navarrow, Dan Flavin and Bruce Nauman how neon has been a medium they use to shed light on important matters that affect their communities. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Sponsored by SRFOL.
