Program Description

Event Details

Asian American Dance Festival exists to celebrate our diverse AAPI communities, by providing a platform for AAPI dance artists to tell our stories in our own voices. We hope to share these stories, not only amongst ourselves, but with the greater community, fostering deeper empathy and understanding while engaging and uplifting one another.

As part of the larger AADF2025 festival, this showcase will take place on Sunday, August 24th from 11am to 5pm. Performances will be held on the City Heights Performance Annex stage, facing out towards the Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park. Vendors and organizations will have booths set up along the edge of the park, offering items for sale, information, and fun activities.

Planned as an outdoor and all-day FREE event, Community Showcase will be a fun and engaging experience for everyone...bring a blanket, beach chair, picnic lunch, and enjoy the day with us!
