Please join us as the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library welcomes acclaimed author Viet Thanh Nguyen in a special event for local classrooms. Viet is a Vietnamese American author and professor from Los Angeles whose debut novel, The Sympathizer, won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.  Viet’s latest book, Simone, is a beautiful picture book with an unforgettable story of a Vietnamese American girl whose life is transformed by a wildfire.
