Event Details

Attend the launch party for UNFLAPPABLE, an endearing picture book about three flightless birds, in partnership with Warwick's and La Jolla/Riford Library.

MATTHEW WARD is the author of the middle-grade novels THE FANTASTIC FAMILY WHIPPLE and WAR OF THE WORLD RECORDS (both from Penguin Random House), as well as the upcoming picture book, UNFLAPPABLE (Clarion/HarperCollins). His books have been selected for the “Buzz Panel” at BookExpo America as well as the Lincoln City Fellowship. For film, they have been optioned by DreamWorks Animation, 20th Century Fox, and 21 Laps Entertainment (Night at the Museum; Stranger Things). Matt lives in San Diego with his wife and three sons.

Free to attend. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. Refreshments and appetizers will be served.
