Want to get away? Join us for the kick-off of the 2020 Author of the Month program sponsored by the Friends of the Central Library. Experience a virtual tour by bicycle across the country with no peddling or pain! Recently featured in the Union Tribune, author David Reed will delight us with slides and stories from his cross-country trip to escape the turmoil of the early 1970’s and to marvel at the beauty of our great country.

Reed is a landscape architect by trade. He appreciates the glories of nature, the raw beauty of the land, and majesty of the mountains.
