We welcome the dynamic Joanie Lindenmeyer, author of the best-selling memoir, Nun Better: An AMAZING Love Story. This book chronicles the courageous love and lifetimes of two women who, as teenagers, heard the call from God to serve as Catholic nuns. They met in the convent, fell passionately in love, and knew they ultimately had to make a decision: break the Church’s rules against same-sex relationships and pioneer an uncharted path toward a joyous, adventurous life—during the HIV/AIDS era of the 1980s when LGBTQ people could be killed for being gay and same-sex marriage seemed an impossible dream. With Joanie’s high-energy writing style and exuberant outlook even during devastating experiences, the book aims to show readers of all backgrounds how beautiful, blissful, and blessed life can be with a soulmate—regardless of gender.

Healing Religious Hurts: Stories & Tips to Find Love and Peace gently guides you on a journey toward healing, learning how to overcome religious trauma, and discovering love and peace within yourself. The book includes stories from 17 contributors across America, as well as a chapter focusing on LGBTQ+ people and how they and allies can find spiritual peace as well as a faith community that embraces and celebrates who they are.

Joyously Free! Stories & Tips for Living Your Truth as LGBTQ+ People, Parents and Allies celebrates personal fulfillment, joy, and the exhilarating adventure of blazing a passionate trail into self-discovery. The authors and dozens of contributors from across America share personal stories and tips in chapters that explore being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer, as well as being the parents and allies/advocates of LGBTQ+ people. These stories appear in chapters that explore same-sex marriage, self-love and affirmation, tips for finding the courage to come out and create a joyous life, and guidance for finding peace and love with spirituality and religion—a topic that has deeply wounded many LGBTQ+ people.
