Celebrate National Poetry Month with a poetry reading by a Pacific Beach author.

Dr. Mary F. Lenox finds inspiration in seeing ordinary things in a new light. She has written three books of poetry and will share poems from her latest book, Seeing the Sacred in the Ordinary: Inspirational Poems of Love, Memory, Light, and Hope.

Journey with poet Mary Lenox in seeing sacredness, goodness, and beauty in ordinary life, feel the warmth of a sunrise, the calm in the sunset, the lyrics in the seawater settling on the beach, and the love of a wayside flower.  Mary writes powerful poems of love, memory, light, and hope inspired by nature, divine imagination, and the vicissitudes of life. Come to hear readings from this thought-provoking collection of more than 80 poems that inspire, inform, and deepen one's gratitude for life while discovering the healing balm of poetry.

Following her reading, Dr. Lenox will be available to sign copies of her book, which can be purchased for $20.
