Program Description

Event Details

Meet Peggy Hinaekian, local artist and author, whose book Of Julia and Men has been included in the New York Times Book Review Magazine under "Discover New Titles - Great Stories, Unique Perspectives."  Illustrations on the cover and inside the book are Peggy's own artwork.

"Of Julia and Men explores the possibilities of what can happen when a smart, passionate, ambitious young Middle Eastern woman lets herself really taste what life has to offer - and savor every moment to the very fullest.  The novel starts in Egypt of the 1950s, takes twists and turns in Morocco and Europe of the 1960s."  - Claire Foster, Clarion Review.

This program will include a reading and signing of the book.  A gift of four signed prints of "The Four Seasons" or a signed and numbered print of the cover will be offered to each buyer of the book.
