Meet for a different book selection every third Tuesday of the month. Read the book Cherry by Nico Walker and then join a lively book discussion here at Balboa Branch Library. 20-person capacity, first come, first served. Copies of the book are available for pickup at Balboa Branch Library. We look forward to seeing you.

Told in unadorned anecdotal style, the narrator shows a bleak and brutal side of addiction, military life, and wartime, none of which are realities from which he can personally break out. The story is lacking of conventions of redemption and meaning.
