Banned Book Club: Like Water for Chocolate

This month's book is Like Water for Chocolate, by Laura Esquivel. The Mira Mesa Library’s Banned Book Club, a book group with a “freedom to read” theme, focuses on books and authors that have been banned or challenged worldwide over the years, as well as other thought-provoking titles. The group meets the last Tuesday of each month, 6:30pm at the library, 8405 New Salem Street.
