Event Details

 

Middle and High School Students are invited to read Station Eleven (or Fever 1793 for middle school) and create a project based on the book as part of this year’s NEA Big Read with Write Out Loud. Free copies of both books are available at the Scripps Ranch Library.

 

Tying directly into the graphic novel sub-plot of Station Eleven (works great for Fever 1793 as well!), participants will story board a short story or excerpt from the novel, then create an original graphic novel.  Students are encouraged, but not required, to submit their finished project to Write Out Loud for prize consideration!
