Join Mrs. Claudia on Monday, November 15th at 10 am on the SDPL Virtual Hub and SY Facebook page, for a special multilingual storytime as she reads in Spanish, English and sign language, Duck for Turkey Day (Pato para el Dia del Pavo) written by Jacqueline Jules and brightly illustrated by Kathryn Mitter.

"When Tuyet finds out that her Vietnamese family is having duck rather than turkey for Thanksgiving dinner, she is upset until she finds out that other children in her class did not eat turkey either and that the true unifying factor for Thanksgiving was spending time with friends and family."  

Special thanks to Albert Whitman & Co. for permission to allow Mrs. Claudia to share this warm-hearted story that shares an inclusive multicultural understanding of the Thanksgiving holiday and the beauty of celebrating things differently in their own ways.
