Join Señor Chon on a new day, Monday, August 30th at 10 am on the SDPL Virtual Hub and SY Facebook page, as he reads Gobi: una Perrita Con Un Gran Corazón /Gobi: a Little Dog With a Big Heart by Dion Leonard and beautifully illustrated by Lisa Manuzak...in celebration of National Dog Month!

In this incredible picture book, Gobi: A Little Dog with a Big Heart, ultramarathon runner Dion Leonard shares the time he met his forever friend, Gobi. Gobi, named after the desert in China, where Dion and the dog began their long hard journey together during a seven-day, 155 mile race. Through cold nights and raging rivers, with little food and water, these two create a bond unlike any other!
