Explore the world of insects with Reserve docent Bill Burkhardt. Bill’s presentation includes an amazing slideshow, microscope viewing, and answers to all your insect-related questions. Bill’s presentations are suited for children four years old to adults. Your view of “bugs” will surely change after spending some time with Bill the Bug Guy!
Bill has been fascinated with insects since he was a child, and did a lot of insect collecting as a boy growing up on the East Coast. Bill graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Biology and received a Masters degree in Entomology in 1984.
