Join noted poet Azure Antoinette as she looks back at her 2018 collection of poetry—Whyld: a write of passageand brings today's injustices into focus. NOIR: a 20/20 Experience is a discussion about history and how it repeats. Brutality at the hands of law enforcement, inequity in the criminal justice system and the 2020 aftermath of George Floyd's death will be a part of this dialog.

Attendees will receive a copy of Whyld: a write of passage, while supplies last, as part of our Books for Good Trouble: Social Justice Dialogues programming series. These dialogs encourage discussion of local community concerns and connects books, creators and encourages positive changes in our neighborhoods.
