Henri Matisse

This class will focus on the life and techniques of the French artist Henri Matisse. After a brief history of the artist and a look at some of his works, young artists will transform paper as they “paint with scissors” to create a variety of organic shapes and then compose an abstract paper collage with the shapes—à la Henri!
