Event Details

From the Beach Boys to Kendrick Lamar, many have left their musical mark on the ever-evolving California dream. The New York Times’s chief pop music critic Jon Pareles and our California-based editor Sona Patel talk about the songs, artists and musical genres inspired by California. They’ll also share their ultimate California playlist — will it line up with yours?
