Learn the art of Chinese calligraphy in celebration of Lunar New Year!
Chinese characters are not just useful tools to communicate, they can also be beautiful works of art. There are over 50,000 Chinese characters in existence, each with its own history and meaning.
This program will be structured as a combined workshop and presentation, where participants learn the history and basics of writing Chinese characters. Most importantly, participants will have the opportunity to practice writing traditional Chinese characters.
This is a free program for adults & teens offered by the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum.
All supplies are provided. Registration required. Register each participant individually below:
