The Friends of the La Jolla Library present Free Movies & Popcorn, shown on the last Monday of every month at 2:00pm.

January 29, 2018 - Singin in the Rain (1952), starring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. A silent film production company and cast make a difficult transition to sound. Rated G.

February 26, 2018 - CANCELLED.

March 26, 2018 - Sully (2016), starring Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart. The story of Chelsey Sullenberger, an American pilot who became a hero after landing his damaged plane on the Hudson River, saving the flight's passengers and crew. Rated PG-13.

April 30, 2018 - As Good As it Gets (1997), starring Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt. A single mother and waitress, a misanthropic author, and a gay artist form an unlikely friendship after the artist is assaulted in a robbery. Rated PG-13.

May 28, 2018 - CANCELLED for Memorial Day Holiday.

June 25, 2018 - Moana (2016), starring Auli'l Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson. In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches Moana's island, she answers the Ocean's call to seek out the Demigod and set things right. Rated PG.
